As our long running relationship with Cable & Wireless illustrates, we believe in working closely with our clients to get a clear understanding of their priorities and communications needs. By taking a broader perspective we look beyond the "one-off" task and add value. Our work for Cable & Wireless rapidly developed from employee communications to encompass Corporate Image, Investor Relations, marketing, broadcast VNR's and even advertising productions. Our broadcast television news background contributes two important assets to our corporate work: the ability to interpret the clients requirements quickly and relevantly on the ground, and secondly the experience to capture quality images with small, highly skilled production teams, that serve the immediate needs well, yet also have future uses. The diverse communications needs of a major company - Image, brands, marketing, employee communication, investor relations, CSR, recruitment, and training, taken together with proliferation of visual media outlets, satellite and cable, Internet, DVD, create a growing demand for good, strong, relevant imagery to connect with the audience. That's why our work for Cable & Wireless led into so many different communications channels, because we were able to think and film beyond the "one -off" and create a valuable image resource that had many uses. The combination of this resource, and our knowledge of the company, enabled us to produce a broad range of effective communications for different outlets, literally at a fraction of the cost each job would have incurred if it were done from scratch each time. If you'd like to discuss what we could do for your organisation, please get in touch.
We are currently in post-production on our first broadcast piece - a 30-minute documentary charting the rise to fame of the singer/songwriter Gordon Haskell. The film tells Haskell's story from his early days in the 60's band Les Fleurs De Lys, and later with prog-rockers King Crimson, through his wilderness period of thirty years as a gigging musician in bars and on Scandinavian cruise ships, up to his current incarnation as a millionaire with a top ten single (How Wonderful You Are) and a top ten album (Harry's Bar). The documentary has been scheduled for broadcast later in the year.
